Becks Tim  Sharon
Leader - Tim Miller
Tim completed a Music Performance course at the London College of Music in 2007. He continues to study the violin with Pauline Lowbury and Susanne Stanzeleit. He is Leader of the Hampstead Sinfonietta and First Violin of the Bloomsbury Quartet. This coming year, the quartet has engagements at Lauderdale House and the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre.

Solo performances with Hampstead Sinfonietta include the Bach Violin and Oboe Concerto in D Minor in 2007, and the Donizetti Violin and Cello Concerto in 2008.

Tim works as a Software Developer with banks, musicians and artists.
Second Violin Principal - Sharon Philbey
Sharon has been a member of various orchestras and chamber ensembles including Leader of the Galway Concert Orchestra whilst at University and regularly playing with the Bloomsbury Chamber Orchestra for the past 10 years in London. She taught violin whilst studying for a number of years and has also performed on several album recordings for various Irish artists.
Whilst at school, Sharon won a scholarship to the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin and studied with Elizabeth Czibi for 18 months. In 2006-2007, she studied Music Performance part-time at the London College of Music and has since studied briefly with David Juritz and Pauline Lowbury.

Sharon is currently Head of Business Development for a law firm in London. 
Viola Principal - Helen Dodd
Helen studied viola and piano at the Royal College of Music. She went on to co-ordinate musical fundraising at children's charity CLIC Sargent and now works in project management in the property sector. Although not pursuing music as a full time career, she has maintained a busy teaching practice and enjoys playing in chamber groups and orchestras.
Cello Principal - Rebecca Miller
Rebecca is studying the cello with Pal Banda. She regularly leads the cello sections of Hampstead Sinfonietta and the London Charity Orchestra. She was a founding member of the Bloomsbury Quartet, but now plays in the Palace String Trio.

Solo performances include "The Swan" from the Carnival of the Animals in Guildford Cathedral, and the Donizetti Violin and Cello concerto.

Rebecca is Head of Languages at Watford Grammar School for Girls. Her musical involvement at the school includes a solo performance of the Bach Cello Suite no.1 at their 2008 Summer Prom.
